The game is a cinematic, single-player, linear story-driven action-adventure set in the western frontier of late Tang Dynasty China, drawing on the historical event known as the 'Return of Shazhou to Tang.' It marks NetEase's first AAA-class single-player-exclusive title, featuring close-quarters combat, cavalry battles, and siege warfare.
