Prosecutors Charge Asari Fuzuki After a Kabukicho Fight Challenge Leads to Death

In September 2025, Asari Fuzuki, 26, allegedly challenged a stranger to a fight in Tokyo’s Kabukicho, and the man died three days later. Prosecutors are charging her under a law that has reportedly been used only 34 times since its passage.
