Hand Grenade Explosion Kills Passenger on JAL Flight 404 in 1973, Authorities Say

The report says that on July 20, 1973, a hand grenade fell from a passenger’s jacket aboard JAL Flight 404 from Amsterdam to Tokyo and exploded, killing her. The passenger was identified as a PFLP operative on board to hijack the plane.
