Gintama and Haikyu!! Summer Pop-Up Shops Announced with Exclusive Drawn-Down Merchandise

Two popular anime franchises are launching summer-themed pop-up shop events in Japan. A Gintama pop-up shop opens June 17 at Daimaru and Matsuzakaya department stores, featuring newly illustrated goods depicting Gintoki, Hijikata, Okita, Katsura, Takasugi, and Kamui in yukata under the theme '納涼風雅' (elegant summer coolness). A Haikyu!! pop-up shop begins June 9 at Tree Village, presented by TOHO animation, offering exclusive newly drawn merchandise featuring characters in jinbei summer wear.
