The developer behind D1AL-ogue, a free-to-play fetish-themed android repair visual novel, has announced they are considering a crowdfunding campaign for the sequel, D1AL-ogue+. The studio cited budget shortages and personal financial hardship as the driving factors, noting that the original game was released for free and therefore cannot generate revenue to fund continued development. Outstanding issues such as translation quality and the use of royalty-free music assets are also hoped to be addressed through crowdfunding.
