A note from the YOFUKA creator

YOFUKA is still finding its shape. Thanks for visiting early.

YOFUKA was born out of frustration with having to visit two dozen different sites to get all the news, fanart, and information around anime, games, and manga — only to see the same stories repeated over and over.

YOFUKA aggregates from RSS, Bluesky, and Misskey, clusters the same stories together, summarizes them, and links you back to the original source so you can dig deeper. We also bring in Japanese sources and produce a brief machine translation so you can be on the bleeding edge of news coming out of Japan.

Fun things you can do

  1. Follow various anime, games, and manga.
  2. Save stories for reference.
  3. Comment and reply on story clusters.
  4. Sort stories by what's new and what's hot.
  5. Install YOFUKA as a PWA on your phone for an app-like experience.
  6. Roll the daily and weekly gacha — fun fan polls that earn you badges.
  7. Like — or すき — our aggregated content.
  8. Display your titles, saves, comments, and gachas for other users to see.

Built with AI — and trying to do it right

While it's obvious, this site was made with AI — Claude specifically. I'm trying to follow best practice: linking to creators, crediting original sources, never republishing full article text. If you think I could do better, please leave feedback. I'm very excited to see what others think of YOFUKA.

I know it isn't perfect — thus the beta tag — but it's a good start and I'd love to keep growing it if you find it as fun and valuable as I have.

Thank you for visiting YOFUKA.
