Korea Shuts Down Newtoki; New Site Appears Next Day as Emergency Blocking System Prepares to Launch

After Newtoki, long regarded as Korea’s largest illegal webtoon site, was shut down on April 27, a rebranded site with the same name reappeared the next day. Korea is also set to debut an emergency site-blocking system on Monday.
