MINT MANGA Hosts Graphic Medicine Panel and NYC Events Spotlighting Japanese and North American Illness Narratives in Manga

MINT MANGA held its first NYC event in partnership with Kana Manga editors at the Society of Illustrators, drawing a strong turnout. A follow-up panel titled 'Illness in Illustration: Graphic Medicine in Japan and N. America' was held on June 1 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library, featuring manga creator Moka Onmae (Good Morning, Good Night, See You Tomorrow, published by Seven Seas Entertainment), Tsubasa Kosaka of Akita Shoten, and North American illustrators Gianna Paniagua and Kriota Willberg.
