Uber and Sony-owned S.Ride Partnership Enables Foreign Visitors to Hail Japanese Taxis via the Uber App

Uber and Sony-owned S.Ride are partnering to let foreign visitors request Japanese taxis through the Uber app, using about 20,000 partner taxis. Japanese residents won’t see these taxis on Uber and must use the S.Ride app instead.
