Alien: Isolation 2 Continues Creative Assembly’s Focus on the Original Film

Creative Assembly says Alien: Isolation 2 will continue drawing primarily from Ridley Scott’s 1979 Alien rather than the later films, including Aliens. Although the sequel is heading planetside, the studio views the subsequent movies as a different creative direction.
