Valve's Steam Machine team has acknowledged that some customers will be priced out of the mini PC due to ongoing memory and component supply issues. The developers clarified that pricing concerns were not the reason behind previous Steam Machine delays, stating the delays were unrelated to any expectation that component costs would fall. Valve also declined to speculate on whether prices will decrease in the future.
