Japan Postpones Proposals Aimed at Restricting Foreigners’ Real Estate Purchases

The Japanese government has postponed proposals to restrict foreign nationals from buying property, following rising security concerns and economic tensions. The consideration of new rules had been discussed after an announcement by the Liberal Democratic Party in December.
