Shinto Sand-Digging Ceremony Marks British Library Expansion in London

Japanese property developer Mitsui Fudosan held a traditional Shinto groundbreaking ceremony in London to mark the start of the British Library’s £1.1 billion expansion, using sand and farm tools instead of the customary scissors and ribbons.
