European Commission Approves $55 Billion Saudi-Backed Acquisition of EA
The European Commission has cleared a $55 billion leveraged buyout of Electronic Arts backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, along with investment firms Silver Lake and Affinity Partners. The regulatory body determined the deal does not raise competition concerns and has granted approval to proceed.
