Sorajima launches Shonen STOKE, new editorial division focused on vertical-format manga

Sorajima, a Japanese manga publisher, has established a new editorial department called Shonen STOKE dedicated to producing original shonen manga optimized for vertical (tate-yomi) reading formats. According to editor-in-chief Maeda Toshiro, the division aims to deliver manga that ignites the 'spark' within readers' hearts, targeting the shonen demographic with content designed specifically for digital vertical-scroll consumption.
