Minecraft Java Edition Drops Plans for Serverless P2P Feature From the Friends List

Minecraft’s Java Edition will not add a serverless P2P play feature via the Friends List for now. The decision was made because the implementation had not yet reached what the developers consider an ideal experience for all players.
