Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru Season 2 Anime Confirmed for October 2026

Kadokawa Anime has announced that the TV anime Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru (The Detective Is Already Dead) Season 2 will begin broadcasting in October 2026. The promotional clips, taken from Episode 1 of the original season, reintroduce the story of Kimizuka Kimihiko, an accident-prone boy who becomes the assistant to Siesta, a legendary detective who battles enemies of the world — a partnership that ends in tragedy. The clips are being used to build anticipation ahead of the new season.
