Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru Season 2 Anime Announced for October 2026

Kadokawa Anime has confirmed that the TV anime Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru (The Detective Is Already Dead) will return for a second season, set to begin airing in October 2026. The promotional content recaps the story's premise: accident-prone boy Kimizuka Kimihiko becomes the assistant of genius detective Siesta during a mid-flight crisis, the two adventuring together for three years before being separated by death.
