Square Enix announced a restart for Dragon Quest XII under a new structure, renaming it from Dragon Quest XII The Flame of the Chosen Destiny to Dragon Quest XII Dream Beyond the Reach. Yuji Horii and Yosuke Saito shared messages with development footage, alongside a refreshed logo.
