Kadokawa Anime has announced that The Detective Is Already Dead (Tantei wa Mou, Shinde Iru) will return for Season 2 beginning in October 2026. The series follows Kimizuka Kimihiko, a boy with a talent for getting caught up in trouble, who becomes the assistant to Siesta, a brilliant detective fighting enemies across the globe.
