Tokyo Government Announces Removal of Public Phones From Toei Subway Stations

The Tokyo government plans to remove all public telephones from stations on the Toei subway network. The decision was not made by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation, despite the stations being operated under its network.
