Dbrand removes Steam Machine Companion Cube case after admitting lack of Valve permission
Accessory maker Dbrand has pulled its Steam Machine Companion Cube case from sale after acknowledging it never sought authorization from Valve to produce the product. The case, based on the iconic Companion Cube from Portal, infringed on Valve's intellectual property without the company's knowledge or consent.
