In January 2026, Bandai Namco Filmworks announced an new anime project titled Armored Trooper VOTOMS: Die Graue Hexe. It is set to premiere in 2026 will be produced by Sunrise with production assistance by Production I.G, and will be part of a series of projects commemorating studio Sunrise's 50th anniversary to be released between 2026 and 2028. Note: Relations are provisional and subject to change.

Bandai Namco Filmworks has revealed that the brand-new Armored Trooper VOTOMS film directed by Mamoru Oshii, titled Armored Trooper VOTOMS: The Grey Witch (Hexe), will be released as a two-part theatrical project. The first part is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on November 20. Original VOTOMS creator and director Ryosuke Takahashi is involved as supervisor, and a teaser visual and teaser trailer have been released, featuring the Scopedog mech and a glimpse of the 'witch' character.
